DIANA CONCERT RAISES $2.4 MILLION FOR CHARITY

British royals PRINCES WILLIAM and HARRY's tribute concert to their late mother DIANA, THE PRINCESS OF WALES has raised $2.4 million (GBP1.2 million) for charity. Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart and Sean 'Diddy' Combs all performed at the Concert for Diana in London in July (07). A spokesman for the young royals says, "Although the event was first and foremost a tribute concert, both Princes William and Harry were keen that any proceeds should be shared among the eight charities which they had selected to be beneficiaries."
