DIAMOND RINGS IN THE HOLIDAYS WITH CHRISTMAS ALBUM

NEIL DIAMOND has joined the race for a festive Christmas number one album after announcing plans to release a CD of holiday tunes.
His A Cherry Cherry Christmas will feature a cover of Adam Sandler's The Chanukah Song, which has been produced by Guns n' Roses guitarist DJ Ashba.
Diamond joins Bob Dylan, Sting, Judas Priest star Rob Halford, Sugarland and Tori Amos among the stars releasing festive albums later this month (Oct09).
