DESIGNER MEDFORD HIRED TO RECREATE HENDRIX LOOK FOR BIOPIC

British designer GAVIN PIERRE MEDFORD has been hired to recreate rocker JIMI HENDRIX's colourful wardrobe for an upcoming biopic. Directors Charlie Brown and Peter Miles have commissioned Medford to study the late rocker's attire for the as-yet-untitled new film. Rising star Medford, who claimed the Best Street Wear Award at last year's (06) U.K. Fashion Awards, is an associate lecturer at the London College Of Fashion. He says, "I'm very excited about working on the Jimi Hendrix biopic. He was a true innovator of both music and fashion and I am looking forward to becoming part of his legacy."
