DERN JOINS HARPER ON TOUR

LAURA DERN is so desperate to spend time with new husband BEN HARPER, she is packing up the family and joining him on his world tour. The JURASSIC PARK star decided to take the couple's four-year-old son ELLERY and one-year-old daughter JAYA along to see their father in action. Harper has a string of dates planned in the US to promote his double album BOTH SIDES OF THE GUN, before jetting off around the globe. She explains, "We're going to visit him in Europe. Then I'm working in LA. That's the extent of our summer - everybody's working." The couple married in December (05), after five years together and regularly double date with another celebrity couple with young children at home - comedian BEN STILLER and his wife CHRISTINE TAYLOR. She adds, "I've never had another couple that we can do that with!"
