DENEUVE FATHER NAZI COLLABORATOR?
The father of screen icon CATHERINE DENEUVE collaborated with the Nazis during the Second World War, according to a new biography. The French Belle De Jour star's late parent Maurice Dorleac is accused by writer Bernard Violet of appearing in 72 pro-Nazi radio appearances. After the war, Dorleac was accused of "giving aid to Germany... and damning the unity of the French nation." Deneuve, L'Affranchie tells the story of the 64-year-old actress' life and career.
