GREY'S ANATOMY star PATRICK DEMPSEY's dreams of returning to his native Maine to live have taken a twist - he's bought a New England-style mansion in Los Angeles.
The actor, who grew up in Maine, has been dreaming of returning to the state for years - but he has compromised by buying a little piece of his home in Los Angeles.
Dempsey and his wife Jillian have purchased a sprawling five-bedroom estate in Brentwood for more than $6 million (£4.1 million).
The new home comes with a master bedroom with fireplace, a guest house and a pool, according to Life & Style magazine.
