DEGENERES TURNED DOWN MICHAEL AND TIMBERLAKE WEDDING SONG OFFERS

Newlyweds ELLEN DeGENERES and PORTIA DE ROSSI turned down offers from GEORGE MICHAEL and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE to sing at their summer (08) wedding in favour of a little known singer.
The pop superstars both offered to perform, with Timberlake going so far as planning to pen a new song especially for the two brides.
But, when the couple chose to scale their wedding plans back to a more intimate family affair, the idea of inviting big name stars to perform in their garden seemed a little odd.
DeGeneres says, "We called and disinvited everyone. They totally understood."
Instead, she asked Joshua Radin to sing at the wedding: "He was fantastic and was so thrilled and honoured."
