DEFTONES NOT THRILLED TO BE 'CLASSICS'

DEFTONES rocker CHINO MORENO is thrilled and annoyed with the band's Kerrang Award for Classic Songwriter - because it's a great accolade but makes him feel old. The frontman stepped onstage to collect the award at a ceremony in London on Thursday (23Aug07) - and expressed his reservations about becoming "classic". He said, "It's good to be classic...but it makes us sound like we're kinda old."
