DEATH THOUGHTS HELP IZZARD WITH FLYING FEARS
Actor/comedian EDDIE IZZARD copes with his fear of flying by telling himself he's going to die in a crash every time he gets on a plane.
The Brit is no longer so afraid of taking to the skies that he vomits on flights - and he credits this to his unorthodox method of containing his panic.
He says, "I have a big fear of flying. I used to throw up on every plane...
"I have a radical way you can deal with flying. You get on the plane and you decide, 'This time the plane's going into a mountain. That's it. Sayonara. Goodbye.'
"You may as well enjoy it (the flight), have a good meal, get drunk - because if you land and you're OK, then it's a bonus."
