DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE CLIMB NARROW STAIRS TO NUMBER ONE

Cult indie act DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE have scored their first U.S. number one album after selling 144,000 copies of their new release NARROW STAIRS in a week.
It was the only album to top 100,000 sales in a slow week on the Billboard chart.
Frank Sinatra collection Nothing But the Best, which has been released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sinatra's death, entered the new countdown at two with 99,000 sales.
Jason Mraz's We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things and Welsh singer Duffy's Rockferry debut at three and four respectively.
Leona Lewis' former chart-topper, Spirit, climbs up a spot to round out the top five.
Neil Diamond's Home Before Dark drops to seven after becoming the crooner's first number one album last week (14May08).
