DEAN ESCAPES HOUSE FIRE UNHARMED

Country singer JIMMY DEAN and his wife are recovering after a major fire ripped through their Virginia home on Monday night (20Apr09).
Firefighters from the Henrico County Fire Department were called to the Grammy Award winner's house to tackle the flames, but Dean and his wife escaped unharmed.
The blaze is thought to have started in the couple's basement; authorities believe the cause was accidental.
Three firemen were injured while attempting to put out the fire.
