DE NIRO YET TO WATCH HIS EXTRAS CAMEO

ROBERT DE NIRO's cameo on British TV show EXTRAS may have wowed the critics - but the Oscar-winning actor admits he's yet to watch his appearance. The TAXI DRIVER star filmed the self-referential scene after being approached by the show's co-creator RICKY GERVAIS on the set of their new film STARDUST, but hasn't had time to see the finished product. He says, "I was doing the film Stardust and I had a scene with Ricky Gervais. "He had asked me before. And I couldn't do it then. And I liked that movie, so that was it. They sent me a copy, but I haven't seen it yet." The GOODFELLAS star is not the only big name to play himself on Extras - actors BEN STILLER, PATRICK STEWART, KATE WINSLET and SAMUEL L JACKSON have all poked fun at themselves on the hit comedy.
