DAY-LEWIS DENIES 'HERMIT' LABEL
Actor DANIEL DAY-LEWIS has slammed reports he is a recluse - insisting it is impossible for a father-of-two to stay indoors. The 50-year-old has only made four films in the last decade - and has spent his time off at his remote home in Ireland, which he shares with his wife Rebecca Miller - a film director and the daughter of late playwright Arthur Miller - and their two sons, Ronan, nine, and Cashel, five. But although he admits he is a private man, he maintains he does not deliberately hide away from the world. He says, "It's been suggested a number of times that I have something of the hermit in me but I certainly don't feel that's true. "I lead a very quite life when I'm not working, but I'm not hiding behind closed doors. How can you be a recluse in a house full of children?"
