DAWSON SCARRED BY BULL RUN IN SPAIN

ROSARIO DAWSON was left so traumatised after running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain she was "perpetually scared" on the streets for three months after the terrifying event.
The thrill-seeking Sin City star ran through the cobbled streets of Pamplona, trying to avoid charging cattle as part of the town's famous bull run two years ago (07) - and she feared she'd never be able to recover from the adrenaline rush.
She tells WENN, "I was perpetually scared for about three months after running with the bulls. I'd get to a street corner in New York, look both ways and I'd step out and my heart would still be racing that some train or car would just run me over.
"My mortality was so close to me running. That entire run is still extremely vivid to me; the sounds, the breath. I don't think I breathed in more oxygen in my entire life. I could feel every cell in my body.
"There was a bull that stopped next to me and it turned and looked at me and I was like, 'Well that's it.' It was really scary and I'm glad that I survived it."
And she can still remember the face of the man who tried to use her as a human shield.
She adds, "There was a guy who grabbed me into a doorway which might've been chivalrous, but thanks to my New York upbringing I just elbowed him and kept going! I was like, 'Dude, what do you think, you're gonna hold me in front of you? If a bull is gonna give us a colonic it'll go through both of us.'"
