DAVIS QUIT ALCOHOL AFTER BAND TURNS ON HIM

KORN singer JONATHAN DAVIS forced himself to swear off alcohol - because his bandmates couldn't bear to be near him while he was drinking. The rocker - who has been sober for nearly ten years - finally realised his substance abuse needed to be curbed when the rest of his metal band turned against him. Recalling his last sip of liquor, he says, "I was drunk on August 22, 1998 - that was the last time. I remember that I was in a very f**ked up place. "All my band hated me, I had to have a person watch me 24/7 because that's how ridiculous I was. "So I just quit. I had my last drink in Atlanta, George, it was a Jack Daniel's and Coke, and I had my last cigarette, and I haven't touched them since."
