DAVID'S 'RUMBLED IN THE JUNGLE'

I'M A CELEBRITY contestant DAVID VAN DAY has come under fire from some of his fellow campers, who feel he has been manipulating them since entering the jungle.

NICOLA MCLEAN told JOE SWASH of the former DOLLAR singer's tactics after she and David took part in trial which involved cleaning a car.

There is now an increasing feeling that the trouble which has been stirred up by David's refusal to give up his bed on the bus may have been carefully engineered.

Following his elimination from camp, former Metropolitan police commissioner BRIAN PADDICK said he was disappointed if David has been employing such tactics.

"I took David at face value to be genuine," Brian told Ant and Dec. "If all the time he's been manipulating camp, it's a poor show."

Meanwhile, Brian has said he would like to see ex-Blue singer SIMON WEBBE win the competition.

"He's such a talented, good guy and such a role model. He is who I want to win," he said.
