DAVE STEWART TURNS TINSELTOWN GREEN
Former EURYTHMICS star DAVE STEWART has teamed up with Greenpeace to launch a new campaign to turn Hollywood green.
The songwriter is spearheading an initiative - called Greenpeace Works - to encourage key figures in the entertainment industry to work with the environmental group.
Stewart says, "If you can imagine ANDY WARHOL's Factory with Greenpeace in it and me in it. It is a hot house, a think tank."
The first event, under the new scheme, is a single to promote environmental causes. The track, GO GREEN, will feature the vocals of a number of artists including Stewart's former bandmate ANNIE LENNOX, NATALIE IMBRUGLIA, BONNIE RAITT and hip hop star MC NADIRAH X.
