DANNII 'PLANNING NEW SOUND'

DANNII MINOGUE is reportedly planning a new sound when she makes her chart comeback later this year.

The Aussie star is looking to resurrect her music career in the coming months, having been more readily associated with her role as a judge on the X-Factor of late.

She is thought top be developing a new approach to her material after teaming up with THE FREEMASONS, who have previously worked with her sister KYLIE.

"Dannii can sing, which is the paramount thing with us," Freemasons star Russell Small told The Daily Telegraph. "It's great to be able to do two sisters. It's something a little different for her, I think, because she's used to doing more the dance thing."

The star's most recent single was 2007's Touch Me Like That, which peaked at number 48 in the UK chart.

Former rugby player Kris Smith, who has been dating the singer since last summer, recently claimed she is more relaxed since returning to her home city of Melbourne.
