DANNIELYNN STILL WEARS AN EYE PATCH
ANNA NICOLE SMITH's daughter DANNIELYNN still has to wear an eye patch, seven months after she underwent surgery to fix her crossed eye.
The tot, who celebrated her second birthday on Sunday (7Sep08), was operated on in February (08) after she was diagnosed with strabismus syndrome as a baby.
More than half a year later, Dannielynn's dad Larry Birkhead reveals she is still making a slow recovery.
He tells Us Weekly magazine, "The surgery went very well. We still patch her to make sure the eyes stay equally strong - they're still adjusting. She wears the patch a couple hours a day but she fights it, so some days she doesn't wear it at all. There's a chance she might have to have another surgery."
Birkhead admits Smith's death and Dannielynn's condition have left him constantly fearful: "I'm so paranoid medically with what we've been through. If she has a sniffle: straight to the doctors. Anna had a fever when she passed away."
