DANNER: 'PALTROW IS A CREDIT TO ME'
BLYTHE DANNER insists she has never been jealous of her daughter GWYNETH PALTROW's stratospheric rise to movie stardom, because her success is an affirmation of Danner's own greatness. The 63-year-old MEET THE FOCKERS star is bemused by parents who are threatened by their own children. She says, "To me, my daughter is an affirmation, she's a great credit to me and I am just incredibly grateful. "I don't understand jealousy of children. I'm just glad I wasn't born with a huge jealous gene."
