DANIEL BALDWIN BLAMES PARASITES FOR ENCOURAGING CELEBRITY ADDICTS
Actor DANIEL BALDWIN has accused 'shady' figures of encouraging celebrities to develop life-threatening and financially-crippling addictions.
The 48-year-old, who has undergone rehab in the past for cocaine addiction, claims parasites attach themselves to stars and lead them astray for their own financial benefit.
Speaking on talk show Larry King Live on Tuesday (24Jul07), following Lindsay Lohan's arrest for driving under the influence, Baldwin says, "People that live in the public eye are approached more readily by those trying to enable them and trying to help them. I have a friend who plays in the NBA. He had a gambling problem and the hotels in Las Vegas would send their jet for him when he was playing, saying 'by the way, sir, if you want we'll fly you back,' and pit stop him in Vegas so that he would gamble. A lot of similar things happen to celebrities because people want to come up and give them a bag of cocaine. They want them to come and hang out with them."

Daniel B. has also blamed Rehab facilities like Promises for being too easy on
Celebrities. I'm a little confused. How did he see Britney in there if he was
suppossedly in a different Malibu facility with a different name mentioned on
TV? Wasn't he in a cushy $50,000 a month facility. Am I dreaming? I saw both of
his interviews and read the articles. He was able to grope the chef he now has
impregnated and is living with. (Yes, he is very charming and a real ladies man
in person.)
As far as parasites, the only "reported" person he gave his cell # to and kept
in touch with was poor Britney Spears. Is she the parasite or was he looking
for more publicity? That's a no brainer.
How about the other 8 Rehabs he was in that didn't work? I didn't see their
names and I know some of them. I was in one with him. I did not go and "tip"
the mags and Paparazzi about what he was doing in Oasis in Orange County.
Believe me, he got special treatment and had a female "friend" or two in there.
The owner practically worshipped him. The guy was a complete jerk and the
program was not cushy and not very good BTW. It certainly didn't keep Daniel or
many of our fellow graduates clean.
Cut the BS Daniel and stop looking for good publicity every time a star screws
up like Lindsay. She has her own camp of friends, relatives and legal
counselors and you are not one of them.
