DANGER MOUSE FORMS NEW ACT WITH THE SHINS' MERCER

GNARLS BARKLEY star BRIAN 'DANGER MOUSE' BURTON has formed a new band with THE SHINS frontman JAMES MERCER.
The duo are working on new material under the name Broken Bells and plan to release a debut album early next year (10).
It's not the first time the odd pair has worked together - Mercer appeared on Dark Night of the Soul, Burton and Sparklehorse star Mark Linkous' recent side project.
