DANCING WITH THE STAR KEEPS ALL CONTESTANTS

No celebrity contestants were eliminated last night (18OCT06) on US reality competition DANCING WITH THE STARS, after country singer SARA EVANS' shock departure from the show last week (ends15OCT06). Actor JOEY LAWRENCE and talk show host JERRY SPRINGER were the bottom two contestants, but were both allowed to continue in the contest. Host TOM BERGERON said the reprieve is because of country singer Sara Evans' withdrawal due to her impending divorce. Actress MONIQUE COLEMAN, actor MARIO LOPEZ and ex-US National Football League star EMMIT SMITH will also be back next Tuesday (24OCT06). Votes from this week will be added to next week's and the totals will be combined.
