DAMON'S HOME DESTROYED BY FLOOD
MATT DAMON was too busy celebrating the birth of his daughter in Miami, Florida, to worry about the state of his flooded New York City home.
The actor admits little ISABELLA, who was born in June (06), helped him cope with the tragedy, which cost THE BOURNE SUPREMACY star all his belongings.
Damon's East Village apartment was flooded by a malfunctioning sprinkler.
He explains, "I got the phone call that literally everything you own in the world is gone.
"Had it happened six months earlier, I would have been a mess. But I was sitting there with Isabella in my arms, and I didn't miss a step - I don't need anything else in the world."
