MATT DAMON hates every 11 September because he can't get the images of the terrorist attacks on New York out of his mind.
The actor was living in New York when the planes hit the World Trade Center in 2001 and still has vivid memories of everything that happened.
At the Toronto Film Festival in Canada for the eighth anniversary of the awful day, he says, "That day is seared into who I am more than I'd even like.
"It was weird because I stepped outside my apartment, looked up and saw it happening and then went back in and just watched CNN because I just wanted information. I remember everything about that day."
