DALTREY + TOWNSEND NOT SPEAKING
THE WHO stars ROGER DALTREY and PETE TOWNSEND have reportedly fallen out - on the eve of their American tour.
The duo, who are the only two surviving members of the legendary rock band, are said to have argued over what songs to play at the shows.
It is claimed Townsend wants his new material on the setlist, while Daltrey is keen to stick with their classics.
The pair, who notoriously argued during The Who's 60s heyday, has reportedly demanded to stay in separate hotels on the forthcoming tour, and have their own dressing rooms at opposite ends of venues.
A source tells New York gossip column PageSix, "There is a lot of tension and fighting going on right now. Roger is furious with Pete.
"Pete has been writing all this new material and wants to perform the new stuff, but Roger wants to stick with My Generation, Won't Get Fooled Again, Pinball Wizard and other classics."
The tour is due to kick off in Detroit on 21 October (08).

It would be nice if you checked your facts and spelling, "Townshend" with an "H"
is the correct spelling. I find this entire article to be very sensationalized and
trite. The lack of correct spelling matches how the article is completely devoid
of interesting content and completely fabricated.
