DALTREY SUPPORTS BEATLES BAN

THE WHO frontman ROGER DALTREY has spoken out in support of a British radio station's ban on THE BEATLES' music. Virgin Radio morning programme The Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show hit the headlines in the U.K. earlier this week (26Feb08) after its listeners voted to ban the Fab Four's music from the station's rotation playlists. And the 63-year-old rocker - whose band was one of the Beatles' contemporaries in the 1960s music charts - is pleased with the decision. He says, "I didn't like all their music. I understand that everything has its sell-by (expiration) date."
