DALTREY HITS THE ROAD TO KEEP HIS VOICE IN TOP SHAPE

Rocker ROGER DALTREY is planning his first full solo tour since 1995 in an effort to keep his voice in tip-top shape.
The Who star is in negotiations to play warm-up shows in Maryland and Virginia in November (09), ahead of a reported 27-date tour.
The singer insists his voice has suffered from rare dates with The Who - and he's keen to get back to his best.
He says, "I've got to keep singing... Singing seven gigs a year is not good enough for a singer. You've got to keep doing it, especially singing the way I sing. I could do some serious damage if I stopped, so I've got to keep going."
