DALLE DENIES THE DISTILLERS ARE OVER

Singer BRODY DALLE has dismissed reports her band The Distillers have split - despite two members quitting and her forming her own new group Dalle, who recently became a mother, insists she's just taking a short hiatus from the band to concentrate on her other project, Spinnerette. She says, "The band didn't break up, just two people decided to leave. There's not really anything to say, I'm just going to give it a break for a while." Despite enjoying the challenge of motherhood, Dalle confesses she misses life on the road with her bandmates. "I miss it (touring) a lot actually. But then once you're out there - it's really bittersweet. You constantly want to go home to your nest, then once you get home you want to leave!"
