DALLAS PROPS SOLD AT AUCTION

DALLAS bad guy J.R. EWING's white stetson sold for 1,300 euros ($1,785/GBP890) at auction in Paris on Tuesday (10Jul07). Larry Hagman, who played J.R. in the 1980s oil drama, joined his former on-screen family Patrick Duffy (Bobby), Steve Kanaly (Ray Krebbs), Linda Gray (Sue-Ellen) and Charlene Tilton (Lucy), at the Artcurial auction house, with profits from the Dallas memorabilia sale going to children's charity Hopital Sourire. Bobby's cowboy boots went for 200 euros ($274/GBP137), while Sue-Ellen's necklace landed 700 euros ($964/GBP482).
