DAHL HITS OUT AT SKINNY STARS
British model SOPHIE DAHL has launched a scathing attack on stick-thin stars - branding them "unsexy."
The beauty, granddaughter of children's author Roald Dahl, began modelling aged 19, gaining fame for her curvaceous British size 14 (U.S. size 10) figure.
She later shed the pounds over a number of years to reveal a more svelte frame.
But Dahl warns people to avoid "faddy diets" that are promoted by some celebrities - because they'll just end up miserable.
She says, “Starving is not sexy. It is bleeding gums, acrid breath, brittle bones, osteoporosis, infertility and complication. It saps and withers.
"Please don't be swayed by some glossy fictional food diary that a stick-thin starlet swears by."
