CYRUS HANGS UP ON RADIO INTERVIEW AFTER FOXX INQUISITION

MILEY CYRUS cut short a phone interview with a morning radio show in Florida on Friday (12Jun09) when the DJ quizzed her over controversial comments recently made about the teen superstar by JAMIE FOXX.
The Ray star was forced to issue a public apology to Cyrus in April (09) after joking the 16 year old should "make a sex tape... do some heroin... and become a lesbian" during his weekend radio show.
The Hannah Montana star's father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, refused to accept Foxx's apology - insisting he still found the comments "hurtful" and "not funny".
And the controversy is still proving to be a sore topic for the Cyrus family - it was listed as one of the questions interviewers were banned from asking about.
But the host of the MJ Morning Show refused to adhere to the rules, and Miley hung up the phone when presenter MJ broached the subject to ask if she had ever received a personal apology from Foxx.

Miley was correct and grown-up for ending the radio interview by hanging up. ................................................................................ ........................ Rules are established for a reason. Miley was performing a FREE interview, that radio personality’s show was not a career maker for Miley Cyrus. That radio personality seems to forget the fact that a GUEST should be treated with respect. Are you rude to GUESTS in your business or home? Rules of courtesy apply in a radio interview, just like everywhere else. ................................................................................ ........................ Jamie Foxx was an absolute ass. A man does not humiliate himself by attacking a 16 year old girl - period. Famous or not, 16 year old girls are "off limits" for any public comedy routine, especially if the routine is adult in content. Jamie Foxx's comedy routine was not "age appropriate" in any fashion and any radio station that condones rude, inappropriate behavior should dismiss management, not the on air talent like Jaime Foxx. That course of action will hold the decision makers responsible for on air talent that does not understand the boundaries of good taste and civilized behavior. Any advertiser who supports Jaime Foxx actions does not deserve patronage. ................................................................................ ........................ I love and defend free speech without qualifications; however free speech is not free. There is always a cost associated with free speech. Jaime Foxx should have an internal judgment that respects others when attempting comedy. Jaime, Americans dislike rude and boorish behavior and your likeability is extremely low. ................................................................................ ........................ Man-up Jaime Foxx, your so-called apology was not sufficient and probably insincere. An act of contrition is needed for forgiveness to be effective. Jamie Foxx, what are you going to actually do, to make this right with the Cyrus family? You decide.

So what! A comedian said something out of line, that's a shocker. Miley should show him exactly how "grown" she is and IGNORE him. It's time for some interesting news I say.
