CYRUS DELIGHTED TO 'RECONNECT' WITH JONAS

MILEY CYRUS is "really happy" to be spending time with ex-boyfriend NICK JONAS after "reconnecting" with him following her split from model JUSTIN GASTON.
The singer/actress was left heartbroken after calling it quits with Gaston earlier this month (Jun09).
She turned to Jonas to help lift her spirits and the pair has been snapped frolicking on a jet ski off the coast of Tybee Island, near Savannah, Georgia, where Cyrus is filming new movie The Last Song.
The 16 year old admits she is glad to be on good terms with Jonas - and the two stars' families are even more delighted.
And she is still refusing to rule out rekindling her romance with the Love Bug hitmaker sometime in their future.
Cyrus says, "He's my best friend, and we still hang out all the time. We've definitely reconnected. We don't know what's going to happen in the future, but right now we're just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can."
The former couple has even recorded a song, called Before the Storm, about their break-up - and Cyrus is enjoying the revived professional and personal relationship with Jonas.
She adds, "We both just kind of saw each other and kind of decided this whole thing (break-up) is kind of stupid. We were all over the separation.
"I'm really happy to be back in their lives. And our families are super happy we're hanging out again."
