CUMMING THROWN OUT OF RESTAURANT

Scottish actor ALAN CUMMING was so angry after he was thrown out of a New York restaurant he refused to pay his bill.
The X-Men star was dining with pals at Momofuku Ssam bar on Wednesday night (13May09) when a waiter ordered them to give up their table after outstaying their welcome.
The waiter refused to serve the latecomers, prompting Cumming to protest - and the server then insisted the whole group leave immediately.
But the furious Scot made sure staff paid for their rudeness.
He says, "I arrive with my man to meet three friends - they have already been eating and recommend the squid salad, which I order along with some saki. I eat the salad and drink the saki. Then two of the friends leave, and my manager arrives.
"This tall, agitated man - who had not introduced himself as an employee of the restaurant - appears. He told us that because some of us had joined an existing booking we couldn't have the table anymore and we had to leave.
"I asked, 'So we're in your restaurant and we've ordered food and wine, the wine has already arrived and you're now telling us to leave?' The only good thing to come out of it is in their rush to turf us out they hadn't given me the bill."
