CRUZ: 'I DAYDREAMED IN CLASS'

Actress PENELOPE CRUZ is amazed she passed her school exams - because she hardly listened in lessons.
The Volver star admits she paid little attention to her studies but was so academically gifted, she sailed through her exams.
She tells the New York Daily News, "I was good (at school) but I was surprised because I didn't put too much time in.
"I was always dreaming about the things I wanted to do when I was older, like acting. I still don't know why or how I passed because I literally put no time in. But I did actually enjoy every subject. Except mathematics."
