CRUSHING CROWDS HINDER RAGE GIG AGAIN

U.K. festival organisers were forced to halt rockers RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's performance mid-way through amid fears for the safety of the crowd.
Bosses at Britain's Leeds Festival pulled the plug on the band's headlining performance at the event on Sunday (24Aug08) after surging crowds threatened to crush eager fans stood nearest to the stage.
Festival staff then took to the stage to speak with the group's frontman Zack de la Rocha about their fears for revellers.
De la Rocha then urged the masses to ease up on the front of the audience, saying, "We don't want to have to stop the show. Help our brothers and sisters up front: everyone take a couple of steps back."
It is not the first time the band's fans have forced the group to halt a show; the rockers asked revellers at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, Illinois earlier this month (Aug08) three times to step back over fears of crushing.
