Russell Crowe - Crowe Plans A Musical

RUSSELL CROWE is hoping to follow fellow Antipodeans NICOLE KIDMAN and HUGH JACKMAN and hit the high notes in a new movie musical.

The gruff Gladiator star, who once fronted Aussie rock act Thirty Odd Foot of Grunt, has revealed he's currently looking at a script for a new film, which will require him to belt out a tune.

He says, "There is a film that I'm looking at next year based on a book from an Australian writer which has a character within the book that plays in a band, so that's something I'm looking at the moment."
