CROWE MISSES MOVIE HORSE

Oscar-winning actor RUSSELL CROWE found it hard to say goodbye to his co-stars after filming finished on movie 3:10 TO YUMA - particularly his character's horse. The Gladiator star - who plays Ben Wade in the Western movie - admits he became particularly fond of the animal. He says, "Doing these sort of movies with animals, you get close because it's an intense working relationship - 10 or 12 hours a day for months - so it's hard to say goodbye. "There are some you have a deeper connection with immediately and you can work on that over time. I've found over the years that the more gentle you are with a horse, the deeper that connection gets."
