CROWE BORED WITH BAND NAME
Oscar winner RUSSELL CROWE decided to change the name of his band after nearly a decade because he became bored with the group's meaningless moniker. Crowe originally founded the group 30 ODD FOOT OF GRUNTS, but recently decided to change the name to THE ORDINARY FEAR OF GOD. He explains, "It used to be called 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, which was a crappy name and it's my fault, I picked it. "After ten years I was just bored of that name. "There was no meaning in it, that's why I chose it, because I thought quite cleverly if you pick a name with no meaning, then the songs become the meaning of the title. "What a load of rubbish. That didn't work out. Since we've had the new name, we're actually getting a lot more respect - and better reviews! So there you go."
