CROWE AND SLATER REMAKE WESTERN
Hollywood bad boys RUSSELL CROWE and CHRISTIAN SLATER are to team up in a remake of 1957 western 3:10 TO YUMA. TOM CRUISE was initially on board to star in the project, which will be director JAMES MANGOLD's first film since JOHNNY CASH biopic WALK THE LINE. The original film starred GLENN FORD.

I think that it's about time that Mr. Crowe makes another western! I'm very
excited about this one! 3:10 to Yuma was an excellent film, and I'm sure that a
remake starring Mr. Crowe will be even better than the original!
