CROW WANTS A ROMANCE 'LIKE HER PARENTS'

Rocker SHERYL CROW will remain unmarried until she's convinced she can emulate the relationship her parents have. The singer split from fiance LANCE ARMSTRONG earlier this year (06) and has had past romances with ERIC CLAPTON and KID ROCK. She is currently dating an unnamed film director and has never been more committed to commitment. She explains, "I'm ready for the quintessential forever relationship... I do believe love is the most important thing. "I've had a good model: my mom and dad have been married for 51 years. Not every day was a euphoric, honeymoon-like experience, but they stuck with it and worked through things." Crow won't say whether her secret new romance will lead to marriage, but she knows the type of guy she's looking to spend the rest of her life with. She adds, "I want a man who's my best friend. I want someone who knows himself very well - and that can be challenging to find. "I want a man who's a man - who's asked all the right questions in life, but is also OK with his insecurities. Having a good sense of humour is imperative."
