CROW DENIES FLEETWOOD MAC COLLABORATION

LATEST: SHERYL CROW has denied she ever had plans to join FLEETWOOD MAC in the recording studio or on tour - insisting the reports were just "rumours".
The rocker was allegedly set to team up with the legendary band for their 2009 tour, after guitarist Lindsey Buckingham invited her to play with them to add another female dimension to the group.
The band's iconic singer Stevie Nicks was said to be desperate for another woman to join them onstage, as she is the only remaining female member since Christine MCVie left in the late 1990s.
But Crow insists she has no plans to join the group any time soon, although she would love to collaborate with the rockers in the future, reports Gigwise.com.
She says, "No, that was those 'Rumours' - to quote the album… I think their next album may be while I'm on the road. Hopefully in the future we'll have some kind of collaboration, but not at this time."

So those were rumors that Crow was joining Fleetwood Mac? Hmm. She's back-pedalling now. This is what she told Spinner.com Move over, Stevie: Sheryl Crow is planning to join Fleetwood Mac. "We definitely have plans for collaborating in the future, and we'll see what happens," Crow tells Spinner. As to when fans might hear those collaborations, she says, "I think that's going to be next year." And what songs would she ideally like to perform onstage with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham? "I'd love to do 'The Chain' and 'Second Hand News,'" she says. "There's so many great songs that I absolutely love, and just to get to sing harmonies on them is going to be a thrill."
