CROSS 'HEART-BROKEN' BY HUSBAND'S CANCER BATTLE

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star MARCIA CROSS has been left "heart-broken" by her husband's cancer battle, according to her mother.
Cross' stockbroker husband, Tom Mahoney, is currently receiving treatment for the illness after being diagnosed earlier this year (Jan09).
No other details about the 51-year-old's condition have been released, but Cross' mother, Janet, insists the actress and her partner are determined to beat the deadly disease.
She tells Britain's Closer magazine, "It's heart-breaking to see Tom so ill - he's got a big battle ahead of him. It just breaks my heart that they have only just found each other fairly recently and he might not be around to watch his kids grow up.
"They are the most romantic pair too. I just hope Tom gets better, so they can have a normal life again. His chemotherapy has been so gruelling and it's been tough but they're in love and doing the best they can."
The couple, who wed in 2006, are parents to two-year-old twin daughters, Eden and Savannah.
Cross' previous partner, longterm boyfriend Richard Jordan, died of a brain tumour in 1993.
