DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star MARCIA CROSS was eager to give birth to her twin daughters after more than a month of doctor-ordered bed rest. Cross, 44, gave birth to fraternal twin girls EDEN and SAVANNAH on 20 February (07). A source tells American publication People, "By the end she was definitely tired of being in bed!" The girls are the first children for Cross and her stockbroker husband of eight months, TOM MAHONEY. The source says, "The family is home, and it's all mellow and happy there." The star, who plays BREE VAN DE CAMP on the hit show, filmed scenes from her bedroom while she was pregnant and plans to return for the series finale. Cross' co-star BRENDA STRONG adds, "She'll be an easy-going mom. I don't see her stressing at all."
