British actor MACKENZIE CROOK suffered for his art on the set of his latest movie THREE AND OUT - he broke a rib when he was dangled over a bridge wearing only underpants.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star was filming a sex scene with Bond beauty Gemma Atherton when producers ordered his character to be chased half-naked through the English countryside.
But the performance stopped when the former The Office star was violently shunted over a bridge by co-star Colm Meaney, leaving him reeling in pain after breaking a rib.
He says, "There's a scene in the film where Colm Meaney's character catches me in bed with his daughter and chases me across the (English rural hotspot) Lake District wearing only a pair of pants and a kimono.
"In the end he catches me and slams me over the side of a bridge and dangles me over a waterfall. That's when I broke the rib. It was horrible. The pain you see in the movie is real."
