CRAIG'S BROADWAY BODYGUARDS

DANIEL CRAIG has bumped up his security over fears fans could accost him during his Broadway run in A STEADY RAIN - despite his co-star HUGH JACKMAN refusing a bodyguard.
The Bond star, who is notoriously protective of his private life, is set to make his Broadway debut opposite seasoned stage actor Jackman next week (10Sep09) in the dramatic play about two pals whose friendship is put to the test.
The hype surrounding the show is so intense, the pair has been rehearsing away from the theatre at a secret location.
But Craig has stunned his co-workers after requesting a personal security team throughout the show's run, according to New York Post gossip column PageSix.
A source tells the publication, "Everybody thinks it's funny because the truth is, Daniel rarely gets approached by the public in the street and at restaurants - especially now that he has the huge handlebar moustache for this role."

OK, so he wants bodyguards...can't say that I blame him....you never know what the fans will do..he may find the bodyguards are not needed after all.....but no one has the right to poke fun at him for wanting them!!

Yes, nice reporting, because women fans who pay $130 a ticket tend to be ravenous and may rush the stage. HELLO? we may want to...but we are more cerebral so we would get more from that then wanting to touch his coattail, dah? Now, if we were full blooded male-testosterone filled neanderthals, yes, I would be reporting this toxic message all over the place because there is a difference b/t male dominant and female dominant audiences. thx moron author (male?)
