COURTENEY COX regrets her skinny appearance on hit show FRIENDS, because it prompted fears she was suffering from an eating disorder. The SCREAM star denies she ever suffered from anorexia but worries her slight appearance on certain episodes of the US sitcom set a bad example to the show's millions of young fans. She says, "When I was on Friends, there was a period when I was really thin and I thought I looked great - but in retrospect, it was not so good. I did not have anorexia but they kept writing about it. "It's bad for kids across America to think that people on the show they look up to have something like that. It was tough."
