COWELL URGES CLARKSON TO END FEUD WITH DAVIS
British music mogul SIMON COWELL has urged AMERICAN IDOL star KELLY CLARKSON to end her war of words with record boss CLIVE DAVIS - because he knows better than her.
Clarkson confirmed reports she and Davis had fallen out over tracks she wrote for new album My December during a recent Blender magazine interview, and Cowell feels the singer would be unwise to continue the feud.
The pop star reportedly told Davis that, at 80, he was too old to understand her music.
Cowell, who gave Clarkson her big break after selecting her to compete in the first season of American Idol, advises, "Kiss and make up, decide what's best, get on with it!
"Clive Davis, at 80, is better than 99 per cent of the people in the music business in their 20s, 30s and 40s. And he's not 80, he's less than 80.
"(Kelly) is one of the best and she always will be, (but Clive) is the boss of the record company... It's his job to advise."
