COWELL HUNTS MUSIC HACKERS

Music producer SIMON COWELL is fuming after computer hackers stole unreleased songs by his artists LEONA LEWIS and ALEXANDRA BURKE.
Cowell, who signed the singers to his Syco label after they both won his U.K. TV talent show The X Factor, was furious when two of Burke's demos, Perfect and Overcome, surfaced online on Monday (13Jul09).
Now the mogul is determined to crack down on the internet thieves, who are also said to have found a handful of Lewis' tracks and uploaded them to the web.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "(Burke's) leaked songs are very rough early demos which were recorded months ago. We don't even know yet if they will make the final cut.
"Label bosses are furious and everyone is in a panic. Sony have spent thousands of pounds over the past few weeks investigating the sources of the leaks. We are now pretty close to nailing the people responsible but it's been a nightmare."
