COWELL DENIES RETIREMENT PLANS
Music mogul SIMON COWELL has denied he plans to quit showbusiness next year (09) when he reaches the age of 50.
The American Idol judge previously stated that he plans to step out of the spotlight after he reaches the milestone birthday in October 2009.
But now, the star has backtracked - insisting he is to carry on with his reality show projects.
Cowell's spokesman Max Clifford says, "Simon's not going anywhere. He's told me he'll go on and on. And so he should."
